Your volunteer support is irreplaceable for the patients, students and residents of Kleinwachau. After all, of course we do our best to help - with our hospital, workshops and residential and educational facilities. Nevertheless, it is and remains difficult for people with epilepsy and disabilities to find a place in society, social contacts or a special level of care. You can help the little sentinels of Kleinwachau! Armed with your experience, talents, ideas, time and open-mindedness, get involved! Just be yourself and you will get a lot in return: Smiles, gratitude, recognition, joy, moments of happiness, unique experiences, friendship...

WHAT YOUR ENGAGEMENT WITH US CAN LOOK LIKE IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU.

Visit us, talk to us, read and listen to us, play games, go for walks, support athletes, share your knowledge, do handicrafts, go with us to the countryside, help organise events... The people of Kleinwachau are eager to hear your ideas.

HEREWITH YOU CAN HELP US IN A VERY CONCRETE WAY:

• Help to organise leisure time: open evenings, courses, seminars

• Help and accompany on excursions, events and group holidays

• Help build up social relationships or individual sponsorships

THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM VOLUNTEERING:

• You don't need any previous experience - our staff will give you all the information and assistance you need.

• Any expenses incurred (for example, for materials) will be reimbursed by the Epilepsy Centre or its residents - we will also issue donation receipts on request

• a member of staff from the Epilepsy Centre is present at every event - a contact person is always available if necessary

• Volunteers are protected by our insurance
